Additional Health Precautions

In response to concerns around the Coronavirus, the Bradford County Historic Theatres have taken steps to create a safer environment for our patrons and staff. Our theater staff has adopted additional health practices that will help reduce the transmission of the various illnesses that are common in this season.

•We are disinfecting surfaces, doorknobs, railings, and other common areas more frequently.
• Our staff are washing and disinfecting their hands frequently.
• We have made hand sanitizer available at each sales station.
• We are prohibiting any staff who are sick from working at the theater.
• We are encouraging patrons to take these additional hygiene steps as well.
• We are asking patrons who are feeling sick not to attend the theater.

Our management team is monitoring the situation carefully. We are also in contact with other theaters nationwide through the National Association of Theatre Owners of PA, the League of Historic Theatre Owners, Art House Convergence, and public health organizations.

Coronavirus (COVID19) Update as of 3-14-2020

We want you to know that the safety of our audiences, artists, and staff is our first priority. The BCRAC Historic Theatres - Keystone Theatre and Sayre Theatre will remain open this weekend. The Rialto Theatre is closed due to a projector issue.

What are we doing to minimize risk?

In addition to communicating best health and safety practices to our internal and external guests, BCRAC has implemented enhanced environmental cleaning throughout our venues and offices. This includes:

Additional cleaning of all frequently touched countertops, handrails, doorknobs, armrests, etc.
Transition of all solvents to a disinfectant version in order to provide enhanced germ-free environments at every touch point
Addition of hand sanitizers and tissues in the lobby.
Installation of hand washing reminder signs in all of our restrooms
Paper cups at all drinking fountains

How can you best ensure your safety and that of others in BCRAC venues?

Do not attend a movie or performance if you are not feeling well and/or are exhibiting symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath
Practice good respiratory etiquette (e.g., cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing) and throw away your tissues
Wash and/or sanitize your hands regularly
Respect social distance in seating choices

As a nonprofit arts organization, closing our doors to the public means a significant loss of revenue. While our top priority is keeping our patrons, visiting artists, and staff safe and secure, funds from tickets, concessions sales, and rental fees are the main sources of income and contribute significantly to our financial stability. This closure greatly affects our ability to preserve these beautiful historic theaters, and to share them with everyone in the community. If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to help us offset the costs already incurred for these cancelled events and the lost revenue during our closure, you can do so at
